Kristin Sukraw, M.A., PLMHP

After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska, Kristin’s passions for both her faith and for helping people grow led her to pursue a Master’s degree in counseling from Denver Seminary. While studying under excellent counseling professors and renowned Bible scholars, Kristin learned not only the latest counseling techniques, but also how to integrate her faith into all aspects of the counseling process.
During her time at Seminary, Kristin completed a nine month internship at Colorado Christian University where she worked with students with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, as well as adjustment issues. This experience also allowed her gain extensive knowledge in a variety of counseling techniques through observation and team counseling. She has also worked in community clinics and as a counselor and teacher for a divorce recovery program for children.
While Kristin’s main area of expertise is working with adolescent and college-age females, she also enjoys helping individuals, couples, and families of all ages. Particular areas of interest include:

- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief and Loss Counseling
- Marital Enrichment
- Spiritual Development
In addition to clinical work, Kristin is active in the community and is available to speak on a variety of topics. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). |
