Ned Stringham, Ph.D.

In partnership with the physicians of Lincoln Family Medical Group, P.C., Dr. Stringham founded Lincoln Counseling and Enrichment Associates in 1981. Earning both masters and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he also completed a one year internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Knoxville, Iowa where he received specialized training in neuropsychology, geriatrics and chemical dependency treatment.
Dr. Stringham’s principal interests are equipping people to overcome life-controlling problems and strengthening marriages and families.

In addition to his Lincoln practice, Dr. Stringham also provides services in our Ashland office and in several area nursing homes.
Dr. Stringham is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Nebraska Psychological Association (NPA) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He has published twelve journal articles on a variety of topics.
He speaks for churches, schools and community groups and presents testimony to the Nebraska legislature and other public policy-making bodies. Dr. Stringham has also co-chaired two citizens’ advisory committees for Lincoln Public Schools.
