Beth L. Reiners, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
A native of Nebraska City, Dr. Reiners received her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she was active in student ministry and athletics. Her passion for people and her passion for her faith, along with her interest in psychology, led her to pursue her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Regent University in Virginia. This allowed her the opportunity to work with and receive training and mentoring from leading Christian Psychologists while she completed her doctoral training. She continues to emphasize the importance of overall health, including psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual. Furthermore, Dr. Reiners has experience working in a variety of settings including medical clinics, University outpatient clinics, adolescent and women’s correctional facilities and mental health clinics.
Dr. Reiners enjoys working with a variety of age groups from children and adolescents to adults and couples. She has expertise in treating mild to severe anxiety and depressive disorders as well as eating disorders in women. She also specializes in conducting multiple test batteries to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment for clients. This includes Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in children and adolescents as well as testing for Attention Deficits in Adults. She uses primarily cognitive behavioral and solution focused approaches to counseling. In this way, clients can increase their coping skills and learn more effective methods to manage day to day struggles while accomplishing treatment goals to improve specific areas of their life.

In addition to her experience in treating a variety of disorders throughout the age groups, Dr. Reiners also enjoys being active in the community. She is available to speak in a variety of settings, covering pertinent topics. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
